Review: Hanna Barbera

Hanna Barbera. The ultimate in low-brow, low budget cartooning. The concept was to appeal to very young children and occupy them with mindless entertainment.

Tom and Jerry – poorly written, poorly drawn, low budget, senseless violence, stupid.

Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound – too horrible to describe.

Hong Kong Phooey, Josie and the Pussycats, Scooby Doo, Flinstones, Jetsons, Snagglepuss were OK.

Honors to Ralph Bakshi for Captain America – worst animation ever. Spiderman was horribly animated as well, but the theme song and J. Jonas Jameson carried the day.
